Christ The King Catholic Primary School

Our Catholic Community

As teachers in a Catholic School, we believe that the life and teachings of Jesus Christ serve as our example as Christian Educators.
As a Catholic community we are part of a local, national and universal Church, dedicated to ensuring that our pupils, who are also encouraged to play a full part in the life of their parish, grow to an understanding of their Faith in a Catholic environment, where the religious education and quality of life will be formative in the development of the hearts and minds of young people.

Catholic is our Core - the religious character of our school is formed, not simply by the name above the door, but by the school community living out the faith in our daily school activities.

Our School Council play an active role in supporting The Common Good by helping to raise funds for school resources and for charities.

With the help of parents and children our school community has raised over £1000 since the start of the Autumn term for the following charities:

  • The Passage
  • Cafod
  • Mission Together
  • HCPT Lourdes
  • CCS – Catholic Children’s Society

Thank you to everyone who has supported us and given so generously
