Nursery- St Francis

St Francis of Assisi is the class saint for Nursery because he showed kindness, love and care for all living things. He was known for looking after animals and nature, teaching us to be gentle, respectful and thoughtful towards the world around us. St Francis is a great role model because he chose a simple life and always helped others, especially those in need. From his example, we can learn to be kind friends, to share, and to appreciate the beauty of God’s creation every day.

 

Reception- St Nicholas

St Nicholas is the class saint for Reception because he is known for his kindness, generosity and love for helping others. He cared deeply for people in need and often gave secretly, showing us the importance of sharing and being thoughtful. St Nicholas is a wonderful role model because he taught us to be caring, to look out for our friends, and to do good things even when no one is watching. From his example, we can learn to be kind and helpful every day, spreading happiness to those around us.

 

Year 1- St Thérèse

St Thérèse of Lisieux is the class saint for Year 1 because she teaches us that even small acts of love can make a big difference. She followed what she called 'the Little Way,' which means doing simple things with great love, like being kind, helping others, and trying our best each day. St Thérèse is a great role model because she trusted God and showed love through her words and actions. From her example, we can learn to be gentle, caring, and to remember that even the smallest good choices are very important.

 

Year 2- St Patrick

St Patrick is the class saint for Year 2 because he showed great courage, kindness and faith. He worked hard to teach others about God and used simple ways, like the shamrock, to help people understand important ideas. St Patrick is a great role model because he forgave others, helped people learn, and never gave up, even when things were difficult. From his example, we can learn to be brave, to be kind to everyone, and to share our love and understanding with others.

 

Year 1 & 2- St Margaret

St Margaret is a special class saint for Year 1 and Year 2 because she showed kindness, courage and a strong love for God. She cared for others and always tried to do what was right, even when it was difficult. St Margaret is a great role model because she teaches us to be brave, to trust in God, and to treat everyone with respect and compassion. From her example, we can learn to be kind friends, to stand up for what is good, and to make loving choices every day.

 

Year 3 & 4 – St Bernadette

St Bernadette is the class saint for Years 3 and 4 because she showed great humility, faith and trust in God. Even though she was young and faced challenges, she listened carefully and stayed strong in what she believed. St Bernadette is a great role model because she teaches us to be honest, to persevere when things are difficult, and to trust in God’s plan for us. From her example, we can learn to be patient, to listen carefully, and to show courage in our everyday lives.

 

Year 3 & 4 – St Brigid

St Brigid is the class saint for Years 3 and 4 because she showed great kindness, generosity and care for others. She is known for helping the poor and sharing what she had, always putting others first. St Brigid is a great role model because she teaches us to be thoughtful, to help those in need, and to show love through our actions. From her example, we can learn to be generous, to care for everyone around us, and to make good choices that show kindness every day.

 

Year 3 & 4 – St Martin de Pores

St Martin de Porres is the class saint for Years 3 and 4 because he showed great kindness, humility and care for everyone, especially those in need. He helped the poor and sick and even cared for animals, showing love to all of God’s creation. St Martin is a great role model because he teaches us to treat everyone equally, to be gentle, and to help others without expecting anything in return. From his example, we can learn to be kind, patient and to always show compassion in our words and actions each day.

 

Year 5- St Josephine

St Josephine the class saint for Year 5 because she showed great courage, strength and faith, even during very difficult times in her life. She never lost her trust in God and chose kindness and forgiveness, showing great love for others. St Josephine is a powerful role model because she teaches us to be resilient, to remain hopeful, and to treat everyone with compassion and respect. From her example, we can learn to be brave, to forgive, and to always choose kindness, no matter the challenges we face.

 

Year 6- St Carlo

St Carlo Acutis is a wonderful class saint for Year 6 because he showed how faith can be lived out in everyday life, even in the modern world. He used his love of technology to share stories about the Eucharist, showing that we can use our talents to do good. St Carlo is a great role model because he was kind, generous and always put God first. From his example, we can learn to use our abilities to help others, to be thoughtful with our choices, and to grow in our faith each day.
