Pupil Leaders

At Christ the King School, we believe that every child has a voice that deserves to be heard. We are committed to listening to our children, valuing their ideas, and giving them meaningful opportunities to help shape our school community. By encouraging pupil leadership, we empower children to become active participants in school life, develop confidence, and learn that they can make a positive difference to the world around them.

Our Pupil Leadership Teams provide children with the chance to take on responsibility, represent their peers, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our school. Whether they are Faith Leaders, Playground Friends, Digital Leaders, members of the Green Team, or Librarians, each child plays an important role in making Christ the King a welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring place to learn.

Being part of a leadership team gives children a sense of pride, belonging, and purpose. It teaches them valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, responsibility, resilience, decision-making, and service. Children learn that leadership is not about being in charge, but about helping others and contributing positively to their community.

Our Pupil Leaders enrich school life by bringing fresh ideas, supporting their peers, and helping staff to understand what matters most to children. Their contributions ensure that Christ the King School continues to be a place where everyone feels valued, respected, and inspired to achieve their best.

By listening to children's voices and providing opportunities for leadership, we nurture confident, compassionate young people who are ready to make a positive difference both within our school and in the wider world.
