Inclusion

Pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are extremely well-supported throughout the school. Their needs are identified early. Precise strategies are put in place so that staff know how to help them. Pupils with SEND are fully included in lessons and receive the support that they need to succeed.

Our Inclusion Leader and Special Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO) is Ms Le Fleming. Ms Le Fleming is available at Christ the King on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Please feel free to contact Ms Le Fleming if you would like any further information on SEND on 020 7272 5987 or email at contact@ctks.co.uk

All teachers at Christ the King are teachers of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We adopt a whole-school approach to SEND that involves all staff adopting a model of good practice based on quality first teaching.  We are committed to identifying and providing for the needs of all children in an inclusive and adaptive environment.

We work in partnership with a range of outside agencies to support our children, including Speech & Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, CAMHS, School Health, Outreach Services and a range of other professionals.

We work in partnership with Place2Be and have counsellors in school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday who support children with their mental health and wellbeing.
