Model trench building had been something we had been looking forward to for weeks and weeks! The day finally arrived and there were many great collaborations. The materials were self-selected by each group and included everything from pipe cleaners to Oreos (yes, that's right – the chocolate biscuit!) The classrooms got messy, but at the end of the day, some brilliant models made and much fun was had.
