All teachers at Christ the King are teachers of children with SEND (special educational needs and disablities).

We adopt a whole-school approach to SEND that involves all staff adopting a model of good practice based on quality first teaching.  We are committed to identifying and providing for the needs of all children in an inclusive and adaptive environment.

We work in partnership with a range of outside agencies to support our children including Speech & Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, CAMHS, School Health and Outreach Services and a range of other professionals.

We work in partnership with Place2Be and have counsellors in school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday who can support children with their mental health and wellbeing.
