Christ the King Catholic Primary School

Our Peace Garden

Our Peace Garden was built in memory of two children who attended Christ the King, who sadly died in 2011, Rolls and Regina Say. The whole community came together to think about how a garden in school could provide a space for quiet refection, prayer and appreciation for nature.

 

Today, our peace garden has developed as a vital space in school, for staff and children and also as a haven for wildlife. We watch new life in Spring when all our plants and trees burst into life after resting in the Winter,  the beautiful flowers in Summer and the amazing colours in Autumn.
